Hunter Monday - Civil Engineering Technician Based in Tennessee
An experienced civil engineering technician, Hunter Monday has worked for Bluerock Engineering and Testing in in Sevierville, Tennessee, since August 2024. Hunter Monday has applied construction materials testing skills to geotechnical projects in East Tennessee and Boone, North Carolina.
His recent assignments include hotel developments in Maryville, Johnson City, and Knoxville, Tennessee. Mr. Monday performed rigid inclusion inspections for the Holiday Inn in Maryville and micropile inspections for TownePlace Suites and Home2 Suites projects. He also led technician work at The Retreat at Boone, a student housing development in Boone, North Carolina. At that site, he handled concrete and soil testing and inspected MSE walls, soil nail walls, footings, slabs, and rebar. His work can also involve base-course and asphalt testing.
Before joining Bluerock Engineering and Testing, Mr. Monday worked for GEOServices, LLC, where he gained experience with field and laboratory testing of soils and concrete. He is an ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1 and holds TN EPSC Level 1 and nuclear density gauge certifications. He attended Maryville College and Walters State Community College, completing coursework in pre-med, biology, and engineering technology. In his free time, he volunteers as a youth baseball coach.
